Holiday Shopping Guide

Holiday Shopping Guide

This year I made a decision to shop local. While I always made a concerted effort to visit to the stores in town, it was often so much easier to sit on my couch and order from Amazon. I didn’t have to find out when they were open, I could do it late at night, the prices were low, and most importantly- I didn’t have to wear real pants.

Until fur covered leggings and fuzzy socks are considered the height of fashion, this will ALWAYS be a selling point for me.

As I was browsing some of the local store’s websites, I was amazed by some of the really cool things they carried. It made me think that if I didn’t know what they had, someone who lived less than a ten minute walk from them, how many other residents were unaware of these gems in our backyards? So- the Havre De Grace Holiday Shopping Guide was born.

I asked Beth to help to me and armed with a light box and our cell phones, we hit up all the stores in town and took, what felt like, thousands of photos. Despite our best efforts, a large percentage of the pictures ended up looking like my six year old niece took them on a disposable camera, so I ended up using stock photos but hey- at least we looked like we knew what we were doing!

So here it is- The Historic Havre de Grace Holiday Shopping Guide. We hope you like it and ignore my late night typos- we promise next year it will be better!
