The seventh Annual MasquerAid event, presented by the Havre de Grace Arts Collective, will take place this Saturday, February 27.
This year, due to Covid-19, the event will be held virtually.
Betsy Anstrand, the MasquerAid Raffle Chair, is excited for this year’s virtual event and believes there is a silver lining. “The event has sold out the past two years because we were limited to how many people could attend. With the power of the internet, we can host people from all over the world and have greater exposure.”
During the celebration, guests will experience the worlds of film, art, theater, music and dance. The Tidewater Players and Scottfield Theater Company will be collaborating for the first time to create a spectacular show. There will also be a guest appearance by Rogue Swan.
The raffle packages are truly over the top with more than 25 packages, each with values of up to $870. There are also two grand prizes, a Bethany Beach Vacation valued at $2,000 and a Wagon of Cheer, valued at $1,000.
Master of Ceremonies, Rob Tucker, both a teacher and actor, will keep guests entertained throughout the night. Guests will also be eligible to win door prizes during the show.
