How do I submit my heart message?
Show someone how special they are to you by submitting a free heart message using the link below. You may submit up to four messages per family.
Each message is lovingly handwritten by a volunteer, so please have all submissions in by 02.03.2024 so that we have time to create them. Messages will be displayed in downtown store windows starting on 02.10.24.
What is the Shop Local Giveaway and how do I enter?
The Shop Local Giveaway is the Havre de Grace Small Business Community’s way of thanking you for sharing the local love this Valentine’s Day. The grand prize consists of a $20 G.C from each participating business as well as additional items. This is typically valued at a few hundred dollars 🤯😀
To enter, visit Joseph’s Department Store on 2.10.24 at 12:00 PM and grab an event form. This will contain a list of participating businesses. Every purchase you make on 2.10 in a participating location will count as one entry towards the grand prize raffle. Merchants will place an event sticker on your form at purchase, then you can simply bring the completed form back to Joseph’s before 4:00PM to enter. The goal is to collect as many stickers as you can in order to increase your odds of winning.
Will Stores be offering discounts and how do I get them?
Yes! Some stores will offer you a discount just for wearing pink and others have different sales and specials ! As with many events, we get new people participating every day so here is our most up to date list of participating businesses (discounts/sales subject to change by location):

How do I participate in the Hot Cocoa Challenge?
If you love hot cocoa, then this is for you! Check in at Joseph’s and you will get a list of all hot cocoa locations and a cup. Make your away around town and sample each flavor, don’t forget to come back and vote on your favorite flavor before the event ends!
Is there a rain or snow date for this event?
